An update

From the beginning I had an idea of having a blue guitar. But since I could not find a blue body to buy I thought I paint it myself. But then I changed my mind and bought a white body. Nevertheless I wanted something blue on the guitar so I find a blue pick guard that I bought. Kind of mother-of-pearl blue. So I changed the pick guard. It looks nice I think.

I installed the vibrato as well, the Wilkinson WV6R Vibrato. Since I don’t have the neck yet I installed only two springs. The string gauge I use is .009 – 0.46 so the tension is quite low.

And the wiring itself is a wiring with a blender and a treble bleed. The wiring is from Banzai music in Berlin, Germany. From which most of the parts are, by the way. It took some time to get it to work because they had made a mistake in putting it together, and I on my side made a mistake when soldering the pickups. But fortunately they did send me the wiring diagram together with it so at the end of the day it worked out fine. Learning by making mistakes!
