I just started to put together an electric guitar from differents parts. The idea is it should sound like a 60´s guitar, kind of. But using parts of today. I started to place the pickups on the pick guard. They are from the DiMarzios Area-series, stacked hum-cancelling pickups. Humbuckers so to speak, not single coils at all, not what they used in these kind of guitars back then. Interesting. The magnets are Alnico 2.

And the models are DiMArzio 67 in the neck and middle position and a DiMarzio 61 in the bridge. I like DiMarzios, I have their true-single coils in an other guitar, of which I wrote earlier. So, these are not true then 🙂
